Imperfection
The thing with imperfections is is that they are inevitable. Like Thomas Carlyle quotes, "Imperfection clings to a person, and if they wait till they are brushed off entirely, they would spin for ever on their axis, advancing nowhere." And is he correct? I think so. Our own imperfections can be loved by others and ourselves.
But in my case, I tend to be a negative person - only focusing on my negative aspects instead of the positive ones. My entire positive attitude goes towards telling so many each day how special they are. Why can't I give myself the same "attention". I look in the mirror every day and just sigh. How can anyone, love me. W
